It's Week 942!

This week in our end-of-week standup meeting, we recapped what we were excited to have accomplished this week. For me, I not-exactly-jokingly said "I'm always most excited by the next thing," and that's true. This week we got the official starting pistol on a new project that should be a great one.

I don't have a codename for it yet, but it follows a similar shape for BNB projects. An innovative, high-performing team has built a new process - but they've found the edges of their capability in putting the pieces together. They've validated their idea, and they've got customers and stakeholders working with their current version.

But the current version - which is a few COTS systems held together with duct-tape processes - has limits. It's time consuming to report on! It kicks off a ton of offline work! Data has to get duplicated across systems! Sources of truth get spread out or create conflicts! And the user experience - where their customers and stakeholders have to skip across multiple platforms - sure could use some love.

We obviously LOVE this; this is a slam dunk for Brand New Box. I'm so excited to work with them to build a platform that serves their customers AND themselves better. A streamlined user experience! No jumping between platforms! Data reporting at their fingertips! Plus, it's a great use case that makes a difference in people's lives, and they already know that it works and has impact.
