Week 964
Matt Kirkland
It's week 964!
I've been running around like a crazy person this week, which is not conducive to reflecting on the past week! But that running around DOES reflect the big batch of work the BNB team got done. Let's take a look:
- We continued our big mind-meld engagement with one client, helping them strategize and plan a new product.
- ... and we pitched some new visualization types for that, and then expanded that pitch to a few different working groups there.
- ... AND we just this week started some front-end dev and real UI mockups to support that exploration.
- We did some rapid-fire extension of a partner API for an ecommerce platform, helping them jump to take advantage of a new opportunity
- We got some first real-user feedback on the new map-based project, and made some quick iterations.
- We zhuzhed up the onboarding for ~secret project~ (Secret Project is is very much vibes-based; thus every bit of zhuzhing pays dividends here)
- We got approval on a bundle of design work, a big reimagining of workflow of one of our professional development platforms.
- And we likewise got the green light on the lightweight quiz-building designs, after some cosmetic finesse to the figma prototypes
- Also we started a new consulting project, with an existing client but inside a new division. It's fun to widen our context window into how this org works, and how we can support it more holistically. Holistically? Coherently? Sure. Let's say both.
- And as usual - those are just the highlights.
ps: There was a time when I had codenames for every project. Time to renew that practice I think! Next week we'll use one of our team status calls to generate some new ones.
