It's week 981!

One of my favorite projects we do at BNB is a cluster of ecommerce tech projects that support a few different merch platforms. These help bands (and comedians and podcasters and youtubers and stuff) sell their merch, which is an important part of really making it as an artist these days.

There's all kinds of interesting tech and strategy problems baked into this, and we should write more about how we approach those. But I just LOVE it when we see a new artist on these platforms. We've got an alert in our internal slack that lets us know when a new store goes live for an artist, and I always listen to some music from each artist.

In fact, I've been keeping a playlist lately of these creative folks. We had a few new great additions this week, and I realized I should actually share this! It's not a well-organized playlist - I just drop a few tracks in when I see a new artist - so be sure and hit that shuffle button.

I love that Brand New Box gets to empower - in a minor but very real way - these artists.
